In my day-to-day work, I get to spend time working with amazing knit- and crochet-wear designers around the country. Often, as we talk, I ask them what trends they’re seeing–and lately, the trend I’ve been hearing about the most in yarn is rich, saturated colors. Jewel tones and rich colors are flattering on many skin-tones; it’s all a matter of finding the ones that work on you.
These shades are great for hats, scarves, cowls, and other accessories that add a dash of color, but saturated colors can also make for great sweaters and cardigans that are perfect for layering. By throwing these brighter colors over a neutral or monotone outfit, you can add a splash of color without a lot of commitment (you can always take your sweater off!).

Hai sa invatam sa RECICLAM!

Astazi cand cotrobaiam prin dulapul din bucatarie, am dat peste biberoanele lui Rares. Pe astea mari nu prea le-am folosit. Ce sa mai fac cu ele? Mi-am amintit ca facusem la un moment dat o vaza dintr-o cana de-a lui. Hei! Iata idee! Am gasit ce sa fac cu ele: vaze mici. Asa ca am inceput sa caut sevetele, borcanelul cu lac adeziv, am luat cu imprumut o pensula de la Rari si m-am apucat. Cand a fost gata simteam ca-i lipseste ceva. Am adaugat o funda si niste margelute crem aurii si ... gata! Uite ce a iesit!

Nichita Stănescu Poveste sentimentală Pe urma ne vedeam din ce în ce mai des. Eu stateam la o margine-a orei, tu - la cealalta, ca doua toarte de amfora. Numai cuvintele zburau intre noi, inainte si inapoi. Virtejul lor putea fi aproape zarit, si deodata, îmi lasam un genunchi, iar cotul mi-infigeam în pământ, numai ca să privesc iarba-nclinata de caderea vreunui cuvint, ca pe sub laba unui leu alergind. Cuvintele se roteau, se roteau intre noi, inainte si inapoi, si cu cât te iubeam mai mult, cu atât repetau, intr-un virtej aproape văzut, structura materiei, de la-nceput.
